G L Ö W R | Director

GLÖWR is an audiovisual collaboration between Director Jessie Rodger, Producer Sun Alexander and Dancer John Kendall.

GLÖWR means miner in Welsh and this project originated as an exploration of the harshness and contrasts at the heart of a life lived underground.

Three films made up the first GLÖWR collaboration and each video is a chapter in the story, shot at a different location in the Coalfield. The three chapters are made to be watched in sequence as they are released to finally form one short film. The project lives here.
